Managing Partner
Bob Etris Headshot

Bob joined Evans in 2003 and has been a part of the company ever since. As a Business Analyst, Bob spent much of his time in his early years at Evans working with IT developers and business stakeholders to align technology solutions to business needs. As his role transitioned to supporting the FAA just after 2010, he became increasingly focused on organizational change in Air Traffic Control, lifecycle acquisition program management, and organizational development.

As Evans’s Managing Partner overseeing client delivery and business development, Bob’s role today focuses on the leadership of project and program operations, client engagement, and financial and operational account portfolio oversight.

Bob is a real-time problem solver – he excels at seeing, analyzing, and responding. He loves spending time helping people better achieve their goals, mobilizing progress towards Evans’s future, and spending time with his wife and three kids.

Bob holds a BS in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia. Bob has always been interested in human interaction in the work environment, which is why, during his studies, he elected to focus more on business systems than technology systems. He has nearly 20 years of experience in program management, strategic planning, facilitation, and business transformation.

FUN FACT: In middle school Bob used to deliver the local neighborhood newspaper four times a week after school. After begging his parents to let him take the job, he soon realized it wasn’t as fun as it looked! As an adult, Bob now delivers cringe-worthy “dad jokes” to anyone within earshot as his friends and colleagues hope he eventually finds new jokes.

Bob’s leadership philosophy:

Be the kind of leader you’d want to lead you – be clear and fair, help the team, challenge people but not more than they can handle, celebrate their successes, own your shortcomings and hold their trust because without it you’ll have nothing.”
